Beauty and Accessories Haul : Ardène, Spring, VS, Forever 21 and Drugstore

Hey everyone! Today I'm sharing a little (maybe not that little actually!) haul from my recent trip to Montreal. I hadn't been shopping in a while so I went a little crazy with accessories and beauty products.

Here's all that I got

I didn't get that much makeup, but I went for skin, nails and accessories this time!

On an unrelated topic, I'm moving (yes, again!) very soon. If everything goes according to plan, I'll be moving around mid June in a new building a few minutes away from where I live. It's closer to the university and much much nicer! We haven't had confirmation yet, so I'm anxiously waiting to know if we got it. Wish me luck!

Deal Extreme Haul #2 : Beauty, Nails, Accessories, Cute

Hi everyone! Recently I mentionned that I had made another order on Dealextreme.com! Well, it took a while to get here, but I've got everything so I wanted to show you. Deal Extreme has free shipping, but it does take a while to arrive. In fact, my order was sent in 5 partial shipments over a month period which means many trips to the postal office for me XD It was a bit bothersome, but at least I got everything now.

This is actually my third purchase from DealExtreme, but I didn't post the second one on here because it was mostly Christmas gifts, so I didn't want to receivers to know beforehand what they were getting. Anyway, I love this online store! Check out what I got from DealExtreme in the past : DealExtreme Haul part 1, part 2.

♥ First I got this cute teddy bear cellphone holder! It's super practical and really adorable ♥

♥ Then I got a purple brush holder (it's empty), for when I travel for a short period of time (meaning for when I'm not backpacking. I wouldn't bring this backpacking because it's way too bulky and heavy.) I was really surprised by how sturdy and heavy this product is. I kind of half expected it to be flimsy and cheaply made, but it's really a nice quality. I'm very happy with it and I cannot wait to test drive it when we go to Montreal soon. 

♥ Third thing I got is an awesome sushi-shaped cellphone charm. My phone doesn't have anywhere to attach it to so I use it as a key chain. It's so realistic looking, I love it :)

♥ I also got this Hello Kitty soap dispenser. I use it for dish soap and it looks real cute by the sink in the kitchen. DealExtreme used to carry loads of Hello Kitty merchandise, but they took almost all of it off their website. When I found this, I just had to jump on the opportunity.

♥ I got this cute gold Eiffel tower necklace which was really cheap. As you can tell, I removed it from its chain (it was a really long, brown leather sort of thing which I didn't find very attractive). I want to get a long gold chain for it. For now I use it for decoration on my makeup table :)

♥ I love the bracelet that I got. It's super sparkly even though you can't really tell by the picture. I've been wearing it non stop recently. I've even received compliments on it and it was only a few bucks :) score!

♥ Second to last thing is a bunch of nail art stamping plates. I even got one with an Hello Kitty face on it. I'm sooo stocked! I've been looking for one of these for ages. I can't wait to play with it. Expect loads of nails of the day in the near future :P



♥ Last thing I got is more stamping plates! Actually this is just one super large nail plate with a bunch of different designs. I love that it has loads of all over the nail designs. It has zebra, lace, polka dots, leopard, fruits, bows etc. It got a bit bent during shipping, but it still works properly. I love it and I'm really excited about it. It super large, it's bigger than a sheet of paper. I was really surprised when I received the package since I wasn't expecting it to be this big.

That's all I got from DealExtreme recently. Once again, I'm super pleased with my purchase and I would definitely order again. The partial shipment issue was a bit annoying though. Hopefully it won't happen to me again. (especially since I only ordered 12 items - my boyfriend got a couple of watches). Have you ever ordered from the site? Were you happy with what you got? Beauty Haul : Neutrogena, Hard Candy, OPI, Maybelline, Revlon, Macadamia and more!

Hey there! I've got a haul for you all today yay! (that rimed :p). We went to Montreal for a few days  this week and I went shopping a little bit there so I thought I would show you all what I got. There's a little bit of everything in there since I went to Winners, Dollorama, the drugstore and Walmart.

4 OPI mini polishes (the Mariah Carey collection I believe),  Revlon polish (can't find the color name :S), Babylips in grape (my favourite so far!), Maybelline Color Tatoo in Bad to the Bronze, Hard Candy Bronzer in Tiki and Maybelline The Rocket mascara

Christmas Haul and Presents!

This year, I did stockings for everyone in my family. Since it's not a tradition in my family, and since I was so excited about the concept, I really wanted one myself so I decided to make myself one as well :P I also got a couple presents from my brothers and boyfriend and I bought some stuff at the after Christmas sales.

I thought I would share it here, because I love to see hauls, especially Christmas ones! (even though most of this stuff I actually bought for myself :P)

The tiny tree I brought at the dollar store for my dad's appartment! It looks tiny compared to the presents :D

My boyfriend surprised me with a Kindle! I have wanted one for the longest time and keep talking about getting myself one. I was so excited. I still can't believe he got it for me! I had no idea :D

A Garnier kit (19$ for the whole kit, so cheap!) I got myself and my brother's main gift for me : a pink light up miror :D I've wanted one forever!

From my brother, an Hello Kitty Pez keychain (ate all of them already) and a fuzzy squid mini hand bag!

I got clothes too, but I haven't had the time to take good pictures of them yet, so if I remember, I'll post them later on!

DealExtreme Haul #2

I finally received the second part of my order from DealExtreme and I'm really excited!

Basically, all the items I was most looking foward to were in it! :D

I'm especially excited about the pendant :D It's really shiny and pretty. I'm really glad I decided to get it even though it was more expensive than most products on the site. The quality is great and it looks just like the real thing. I was a little scared it would be cheap, but so far I am VERY impressed. Anyhow, if you're a Lotr fan like me it's an awesome buy and you should totally get it! They also have a replica of the ring on a chain which looks quite nice as well :)

Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase on DealExtreme. I didn't expect this much. Actually I was kinda expecting half the items to be super cheap and fall apart when they arrived, but I was very wrong. The quality is quite good considering the price you pay, and the shipping relatively quick considering it's free.

I would definitely order from them again!

DealExtreme Haul #1

For anyone that doesn't know what DealExtreme is, it's basically a chinese website, that sells really really cheap products of all kinds with free shipping! The free shipping part is a real benefit, because what keeps me from buying from the Internet is often the shipping price. I couldn't justify spending money on 2$ items and then pay to get it shipped. Since it's free, you don't have to worry about the amount of items/their weight!

Mathieu and I had wanted to try it out for a while and we finally did take the chance and ordered!

Since everything is so absurdly cheap (the quality is not necessarly high on all item, but at that price it's not even a problem) and there's quite a few cute things, we ordered loads of stuff. In the end, our order was split up into two shippiments and this is the first one!

The most exciting items I ordered still haven't arrived yet, but what I got is still pretty cool!

I'll share the prices and product names used on the website as well so if you want to benefit from the deal you'll know what to look for! Make sure to get it quickly though if you want any of this since not all the deals on there are permanent!

So far, I'm pleased with everything I received. Obviously it's not high quality, but everything is still in one piece, unbroken and super cute :D So far, so good!

The shipping time was also very reasonnable considering a) it's free, b) it leaves from china. I ordered it on the same night I ordered my brush kit (which I believe was sent from Florida) and it came only a few days later! I was quite suprised and happy to see it come so quickly:)

A morning in Chinatown ♥

My boyfriend and I both had a day off today so we decided to go to chinatown for some shopping and noms! We had a great time and picked up tons of goodies! I love how everything (food-wise) in chinatown is much cheaper than everywhere else. I got a huge pouch of Japanese rice for only 6.50$ =D I normally pay 10$ for the same amount at the grocery store. If you take into consideration that everything I buy there is discounted, it adds up to quite a good amount of savings! Plus, most things are hard to find at the store anyway.

First, we went to a cute shop hidden on the second floor of a non descript building. I can’t remember how I discovered this place, but I doubt I would have on my own. The entrance is practically hidden. Every time I go to china town I go there and pick up some Yan Yan and some origami paper to make stars! They have the cutest little things ♥ pens, papers, mangas, posters, wallets, etc. I have to keep myself from spending a fortune =p

The picture is a little bit blurry but these are origami papers made for making little 3D stars. These are hello kitty and shimmery... pretty =o

Yummy Yan Yan! Strawberry and chocolate. I have never tried the strawberry cream yet, I can't wait =D

Then, we went to the grocery store to pick up some of our favourites

This is all the baking/meal things that I got. Some bok choy, short grain rice, veggie dumplings (which we ended up hating :S) and imitation crab legs (surimi). I bought two packs of those crab legs because they were so inexpensive. You can't tell in the picture, but on the price tag it says 2.99$. Awesome deal =D

These are all the treats I bought today; I bought 2 packs of shrimp chips, some strawberry and chocolate Yan Yan, a pack of lychee jellies and mini cupcakes. ♥

Finally, we went to our favourite asian bakery Harmonie.This place is absolutely fabulous =3

I’ve discovered this bakery through my brother about a year ago. He loves to hang out in chinatown and buy all the anime stuff he can find XD

Harmonie bakery make really tasty and super cheap pastries, savory ones and sweet ones alike ♥ I haven't seen many savory pastries in bakery shops before, but I love them! The prices are really reasonable (we bought 3 pastries for 3.60$ recently, incredible!) and they also have really tasty bubble teas. This time we went a little crazy and ended up paying 16$ for the two of us. That included 2 bubble teas, 1 package of mini cupcakes and 5 pastries. I think it’s an amazing deal! We kept the cupcakes for later because we were stuffed =)

Garlic bread, yum! The garlic taste is very strong, if you like garlic, this is heaven.

That's what the tuna pastry looks like inside. It's the second time I purchase this because it's really good =D

My sausage pastry was very tasty as well. The dough is a little sweeter than you would expect, but it balances out the saltyness of the sausage nicely.

This is my boyfriend's ham and egg pastry, I tried it and it was amazing! It pretty much tastes exactly how you'd expect an ham and egg pastry to taste, but that's a good thing =p

My boyfriend also chooe this mayo and sausage one. Didn't get to taste it but it looked good.

We picked up two peach bubble teas as well ♥ What are your favorite flavors? Mine are peach, pineapple and green apple!

So that was our morning in chinatown =D it was so much fun!
