Deal Extreme Haul #2 : Beauty, Nails, Accessories, Cute

Hi everyone! Recently I mentionned that I had made another order on Dealextreme.com! Well, it took a while to get here, but I've got everything so I wanted to show you. Deal Extreme has free shipping, but it does take a while to arrive. In fact, my order was sent in 5 partial shipments over a month period which means many trips to the postal office for me XD It was a bit bothersome, but at least I got everything now.

This is actually my third purchase from DealExtreme, but I didn't post the second one on here because it was mostly Christmas gifts, so I didn't want to receivers to know beforehand what they were getting. ♥ First I got this cute teddy bear cellphone holder! It's super practical and really adorable ♥

♥ Then I got a purple brush holder (it's empty), for when I travel for a short period of time (meaning for when I'm not backpacking. I wouldn't bring this backpacking because it's way too bulky and heavy.) I was really surprised by how sturdy and heavy this product is. I kind of half expected it to be flimsy and cheaply made, but it's really a nice quality. I'm very happy with it and I cannot wait to test drive it when we go to Montreal soon. 

♥ Third thing I got is an awesome sushi-shaped cellphone charm. My phone doesn't have anywhere to attach it to so I use it as a key chain. It's so realistic looking, I love it :)

♥ I also got this Hello Kitty soap dispenser. I use it for dish soap and it looks real cute by the sink in the kitchen. DealExtreme used to carry loads of Hello Kitty merchandise, but they took almost all of it off their website. When I found this, I just had to jump on the opportunity.

♥ I got this cute gold Eiffel tower necklace which was really cheap. As you can tell, I removed it from its chain (it was a really long, brown leather sort of thing which I didn't find very attractive). I want to get a long gold chain for it. For now I use it for decoration on my makeup table :)

♥ I love the bracelet that I got. It's super sparkly even though you can't really tell by the picture. I've been wearing it non stop recently. I've even received compliments on it and it was only a few bucks :) score!

♥ Second to last thing is a bunch of nail art stamping plates. I even got one with an Hello Kitty face on it. I'm sooo stocked! I've been looking for one of these for ages. I can't wait to play with it. Expect loads of nails of the day in the near future :P



♥ Last thing I got is more stamping plates! Actually this is just one super large nail plate with a bunch of different designs. I love that it has loads of all over the nail designs. It has zebra, lace, polka dots, leopard, fruits, bows etc. It got a bit bent during shipping, but it still works properly. I love it and I'm really excited about it. It super large, it's bigger than a sheet of paper. I was really surprised when I received the package since I wasn't expecting it to be this big.

That's all I got from DealExtreme recently. Once again, I'm super pleased with my purchase and I would definitely order again. The partial shipment issue was a bit annoying though. Hopefully it won't happen to me again. (especially since I only ordered 12 items - my boyfriend got a couple of watches). Have you ever ordered from the site? Were you happy with what you got? My Little Pony Series : AppleJack Inspired Makeup

Today for this installment of my MLP Series, I present : AppleJack! I love AppleJack because she is courageous, determined and confident. She's really cute with her apple cutie marks and her big green eyes. I kind of had a hard time with the color scheme on this one though. Initially I wasn't sure how to incorporate her colors into a makeup. Suprinsingly, I think it works and it looks pretty nice after all. What do you think?

I love that Applejack has pony tails, it's really cute :)

I went for green under the eyes because AppleJack has the prettiest green eyes.

I'm really happy with the apple cutie marks, I think they came out nice!

Close up of the lashes. I'm in love with these :)

It's not that obvious but I did incorporate the brown from her hat into the look. It's in the outer corner, a little bit in the crease and on the outer lower lashline

DealExtreme Haul #2

I finally received the second part of my order from DealExtreme and I'm really excited!

Basically, all the items I was most looking foward to were in it! :D

I'm especially excited about the pendant :D It's really shiny and pretty. I'm really glad I decided to get it even though it was more expensive than most products on the site. The quality is great and it looks just like the real thing. I was a little scared it would be cheap, but so far I am VERY impressed. Anyhow, if you're a Lotr fan like me it's an awesome buy and you should totally get it! They also have a replica of the ring on a chain which looks quite nice as well :)

Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase on DealExtreme. I didn't expect this much. Actually I was kinda expecting half the items to be super cheap and fall apart when they arrived, but I was very wrong. The quality is quite good considering the price you pay, and the shipping relatively quick considering it's free.

I would definitely order from them again!

DealExtreme Haul #1

For anyone that doesn't know what DealExtreme is, it's basically a chinese website, that sells really really cheap products of all kinds with free shipping! The free shipping part is a real benefit, because what keeps me from buying from the Internet is often the shipping price. I couldn't justify spending money on 2$ items and then pay to get it shipped. Since it's free, you don't have to worry about the amount of items/their weight!

Mathieu and I had wanted to try it out for a while and we finally did take the chance and ordered!

Since everything is so absurdly cheap (the quality is not necessarly high on all item, but at that price it's not even a problem) and there's quite a few cute things, we ordered loads of stuff. In the end, our order was split up into two shippiments and this is the first one!

The most exciting items I ordered still haven't arrived yet, but what I got is still pretty cool!

So far, I'm pleased with everything I received. Obviously it's not high quality, but everything is still in one piece, unbroken and super cute :D So far, so good!

The shipping time was also very reasonnable considering a) it's free, b) it leaves from china. I ordered it on the same night I ordered my brush kit (which I believe was sent from Florida) and it came only a few days later! I was quite suprised and happy to see it come so quickly:)

Beauty and scents Haul

I'm back with another haul! This time with some Elf, Revlon, Organix and Bath and Body Works!

I'm sorry I have been neglecting my blog lately, but school has kept me busy! (In fact I'm kind of still behind on studying, there is so much to learn). Hopefully I will find more time to post from now on, since I'm getting somewhat used to the rythym at this point.

First up is the Bath and Body Works stuff. That's where I got most of what I bought today. Like I mentionned in my last Bath and Body Works Haul, I got a coupon last time for twenty percent off your whole purchase, so I got  all kinds of goodies.

I ended up picking up mostly fall themed things, and only one Halloween soap. I wanted more Halloween things, but somehow once I got there, the autumn scents were more appealing to me. Here is what I got :

Cute little fox wallflower

The scents I got for the wallflower : tried and true salty caramel and mint chocolate and pumkin caramel latte which I've never tried yet. Salty caramel is plugged right now and it smells so good!

The only Halloween item I got : sweet cinnamon pumkin! The scent is subtle, the soap foamy and the bottle super cute, I love it!

Two small candles : oatmeal raisin cookie and hot chocolate! (hot chocolate is very true to its name, love chocolate scents :D)

 I also got shampoo and conditionner which I have been looking for forever! It's made with argan oil, is parabens, sulfate and cruelty free1 It's by Organix and and I cannot wait to try it out! Anyone has tried it? Tell me what you think about it if you have ^^

 I also got a nail polish at the drugstore (it was more than half off!) This is a repurchase, I loved this nail polish so much the first time that I had to get it again once it dried off. The color is amazing :D

Finally, last but not least, I got this Elf lip palette at Winners! Now I got tons of colors to use for looks :) I working on a celebrity inspired look which I'll post as soon as I get it right.

Cute purchase : Purple fan

I went to Chinatown to stock up on groceries last week! I also wanted to buy a paper fan to help me cool down my sushi rice quicker (I would use a notebook until now, but it was starting to wear off because of the motion -_-).

I found this pretty fabric fan instead for only 3.50 CAD$ It's so pretty it would almost rather not use it for cooking, ahah! I used it once so far and it works well, but I'm definitely going to use it also to cool down this summer =D

Fashion fave : asian fashion

There is something about asian fashion that I cannot get enough of! Everything is so cute, the textures, the colors the cuts. I just love it so much! ♥ In fact, since I have discovered it, every time I go out shopping nothing inspires me!

I really want to order from an online korean or japanese fashion store! Most of the time, the clothes are cheap and really cute! One thing I'm concerned about though is the sizing. Most asian are quite petite and I, being 5'6, am afraid that most things would be too short! Anyone has experience with online shopping at asian clothing stores?

Current obsession : Hello kitty

I’ve been obsessed with Hello Kitty stuff lately (actually, almost anything Sanrio really). I love Hello Kitty on anything =p It’s a shame that the stuff is so expensive though! I really cannot afford much of it!

So far, I have two purses, a grocery bag, a couple pens, little strips of papers to make origami stars, a rhinestone ipod cover, a mouse pad and a t-shirt. I just cannot get enough of it! XD It makes everything so much cuter!

This is an ipod touch cover. I bought it at the Pacific mall when my boyfriend and I went to Toronto last year! It was super inexpensive, but the rhinstones keep falling off O_O. Cannot wait to make my own decoden cover to replace it (hopefully before this one desintegrates). Even though it's cheap, I think it's adorable =p

These are my two current hello kitty handbag, you can't tell from the picture, but they're starting to be a little old! I'm thinking I might purchase another one soon =) Which colour should I get this time?

Also, yesterday, my boyfriend surprised me with a Hello Kitty Easter chocolate! I was sooo happy ♥ It was really sweet of him =D Best Easter chocolate of my life!

Apparently, in japan, there is a Sanrio theme park! Isn’t that crazy? O_O I have to go there sometime! (going to japan is actually one of my dreams!) I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw it at first.

Anyone else is really into Sanrio stuff? ♥
