Sparkly Blue Jay Inspired Makeup using Darling Girl Cosmetics

Hey everyone! Today I'm sharing a makeup look I did recently using Darling Girl Cosmetics shadows. This wasn't a planned makeup look, I just felt like  experimenting with colors and techniques and came up with this. I feel like it looks sort of blue jay inspired though (hence the name), I did a sandwich technique for the eyeshadow (is that how you call it?), a colored brow, colored liner and really cool feather lashes. (which were freaking hard to apply by the way XD) I love the results, it's so whimsical and colorful! What do you all think?

Pokemon Series : Gyarados Inspired Makeup

 Hey all! I have another Pokemon inspired look to share with you all today! This one is Gyarados, the pretty amazing evolution of Magic Carp! It's the perfect example of how hard work can be rewarding in life! I can totally relate to that :) Hope you enjoy this look!

Eye of the Day (EOTD) : Neutral Lids with pop of Blue

Hey everyone! I'm super busy again, so I tought I would simply quickly share a neutral eye look I did today! It's a simple and wearable eye look with neutrals on the lid and a pop of blue on the lower lashline! I'm really into all kinds of variations of this makeup look lately. I guess you probably noticed from my Seaside makeup look I posted a few days ago. It's quite similar! Pokemon Series : Zubat Inspired Makeup Look

I'm on a roll with Pokemon looks lately aren't I? Today I have Zubat for you all! I tried to mimic Zubat's wings on my eyes. I'm afraid It's not exactly the same shape now that I look back at it, but I think it looks quite cool anyway. Let me know what you think of this one in the comments.

Sailor Mercury Inspired Makeup Look

Hey everyone! Today I have another makeup look inspired by Sailor Moon! This one is Sailor Mercury! I had to do this one over a few times until I finally got a look that I like. I found it kind of hard to incorporate her teal hair with the rest of the blues from her outfit at first, but I'm pretty pleased with how the colors tie in together in the end. My Little Pony Series : Trixie Inspired Makeup

Hey all! I'm doing another My Little Pony Inspired makeup look! I'm starting to run out of Ponies to recreate, so I guess this series is almost done! I know there are many more unnamed ponies, but I think I'll concentrate on the ones that appear more regularly. Harry Potter Series : Ravenclaw Inspired Makeup [Take 2]

Hey all! Today I thought I would resurrect one of my old series, inspired by the four Hogwarts houses! Two years ago, I did 4 makeup looks, inspired by Slytherin, Gryffindor, Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff. I thought I'd redo them since my makeup techniques have changed quite a bit since then. Today I'm starting with Ravenclaw. Also, check out the first Ravenclaw inspired makeup I did two years ago here.

I think Ravenclaw is definitely the look I have improved most upon (the other houses are coming soon, you will see what I mean then). Back when I did the old look, I didn't feel very inspired by the color combination and I didn't know how to make it work so it turned out no so great. I have more practice with unusual color combos now (not that bronze and blue is all that unusual :P), so I think it turned out much better this time. What do you think?
