Wearable Color : Neutral Eye with Vibrant Green Liner

Recently, I went to Ardène Dépôt (they sell some of the stuff from previous collections at 70% off) to pick up some earrings and camis. While I was at the checkout, I noticed that they sold colored liquid liner. I'm usually wary of their makeup for some reason, but since I'd been on the hunt for colored liners and I'd had trouble finding what I was looking for, and since these were 1.50$ each, I decided, why not give them a try! I got two glitter liners and two colored liners, including this vibrant green shade!

I love the way it looks on! It's very easy to apply and the brush of the liner is very thin which gives you a lot of control. I'm really happy with this purchase, except for the fact that this green liner stains! :s  (The other colors don't as far as I know).

Fall Series : Wearable Pop of Color for Fall - Hunter Green

Hey everyone! Over the summer, I shared that I was obsessed with wearing color on my lower lash line as a way to incorporate color in wearable eye looks. I showed looks with a purple and a blue pop. (check out the post here) Anyway, so I'm still very much into that at the moment and now that it's fall I thought I'd show you all a Fall appropriate pop of color! I went for a deep hunter green color with a pretty neutral eye! I love it! What do you think of this one? Which one do you prefer? Blue, purple or green? Let me know in the comments!

In case you're wondering what green this is, it' from the Cool As A Cucumber Palette from Wet n Wild. It's so pretty! This is applied wet to increase the intensity and metallic sheen of the shadow.

FOTD : A Hint of Green for St-Patty's Day

Here's what I chose to wear for Saint-Patrick's day on sunday. I ended up wearing just a hint of green on my eyes instead of full on green. Very wearable all year round and perfect for spring imo!

Funny story, I had the hardest time gluing my lashes on one side. I actually stuck it partly on the upper waterline -_- I started blinking and glue just got everyone in my lashes and stuff. Bleh, I'm terrible at putting on lashes. It worked out in the end, but what a pain in the butt lol!

Close up of the eye makeup. These lashes by Ardell are really natural, love them ♥

Tried filling in my brows. Yes or no?

St-Patrick's Day Inspired Makeup

Hello everyone! I'm back with another makeup look :D

This time, it's inspired by St-Patrick's Day which is tomorrow! I think I'll be making green beer to celebrate the holiday this year! I'd love to wear something green also, but quite frankly I don't think I own any :P

Anyway, I'm not Irish or anything, but I love any reason to celebrate, so here's a festive look for the holiday! ♥

When I think of St-Patty's day, I think of clovers, Leprechauns and the pot of gold so that's pretty much the colors I went for :)

No lashes for this look because I got lazy. Kind of wish I had stuck some on though, my lashes kind of look sad  just like that. The Clump Crusher mascara really does a good job of making them look dark and full though :)

Really happy of how this look turned out. It was one of my first time playing with glitter. Now I want more!

Products used :

Base

  • UDPP
  • NYX Jumbo Pencil - Milk

Eyeshadow
  • BH 120 Palette (1st Edition) : Lid color and transition color
  • Wet n Wild trio in I'm Getting Sunburned : Lower lash line
  • Wet n Wild trio in Cool as a Cucumber : Outer corner

Liner & Lashes
  • Cover Girl Clump Crusher Mascara
  • Wet'n Wild Gel Liner - Black
  • Milani Liquif'eye Eyeliner Pencil - Black
  • Stila Smudge Stick - Koi
  • Lise Watier Gold Glitter Liner

I wish you all a happy St-Patrick's day tomorrow! Have fun and be safe if you celebrate! I know here in Quebec, many people take it as an opportunity to get drunk and party which can get a little crazy sometimes! See you all soon in my next blog post and remember to leave me a comment if you enjoyed this look! ♥
