Collective Haul : Beauty, Bath and Body Works, Shoes and Clothes!

Lately I've been shopping for clothes and shoes for my upcoming trip. I also picked up a couple other things along the way! Here is what I got :)

Shorts from : Winners and Garage (isn't that the brightest neon coral ever? <3), Bathing suits from : Garage

A pair of Havaianas flip flops (got them at Winners for half the price!), Crocs (they go with everything and they are incredibly light, perfect for backpacking) and flip flops from Zellers

Rain jacket from Atmosphere, it was more than half price! Super light weight, nice fit, goes with everything, perfect for backpacking <3

Got both Stila products from Winners, 5$ each :D such a bargain! That pencil liner is worth 26$ I think

Bath and Body Works Semi-Annual sale is currently going on. These were all 3$ each :D

Backpacking Trip 2012 Update

It's official! While I have been talking non stop about this backpacking trip on here for the past few weeks, it's now completely official! Yup :) I have purchased the plane tickets which pretty much seals the deal! Now I have a fixed departure and return date. I will be leaving for the longest I ever have, which I'm really excited about! It wasn't exactly what we had planned on, meaning that we we're thinking more 6-8 weeks, but the tickets were so much cheaper this way. So we booked for a full 10 weeks! The initial plan was for Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam, but with this much time, we might have time for anything such as China, Phillipines and Indonesia, so exciting! Anyway, that's all! I simply wanted to share my excitement on the recent news! I'm leaving in a week, YAY! :D

May 2012 Favorites

Here are all  my favorite beauty products for May 2012 :) Some are repeat favories (Aussie 3 Minute Miracle *cough*) and some are products I just discovered this past month!

1) Aussie 3 Minute Miracle : Always a favorite! It has truly saved my hair! It keeps the ends soft and healthy looking even though I rarely ever get a trim :P

2) Maybelline Pure Makeup : Love this foundation, it's super light and easy to blend. I'd say it's a light coverage, which is what I'm most comfortable wearing.

3) Glysomed Hand Cream : Love this! It's heavy and super moisturising, but doesn't feel greasy. It makes my hand so soft <3

4) Maybelline Mineral Power Concealer : This concealer has great coverage and it doesn't seep into fine lines around the eyes. It's my fave so far!

5) Maybelline Baby Lips Balm (quenched) : Smells amazing, super moisturising, love the consistency!

6) EOS Lip balm (Sweet mint) : not as moisturising, but love the shape, the smell, the taste and the cool feeling it leaves behind. It's like mint chocolate ice cream in a lip balm, yummy!

7) Essie Shine of the Times polish : O.M.G! This is the best polish ever! (super overly enthusiastic today, aren't I? :P) But seriously, this rocks over so many colors (baby pink, lavender, black, cobalt blue). I wear it all the time!

8) Maybelline Natural Smokes Quad : Super wearable and versatile. I'm kind of addicted with neutrals lately

9) Hoola Bronzer : By far the best bronzer I have ever tried, it looks super natural and is perfect for my fair skin.

10) Maybelline colossal mascara : I love how black this is, how it separates and how it gives volume. I also love the packaging.

11) Eco Tools Mineral Brush : Love this for everything, powder, blush, bronzer, etc. I am bringing this an all in one brush to S-E Asia this summer! So practical and I love that it is travel sized and eco friendly (love Eco Tools in general really).

So here are my may favorites. Apparently, I'm quite into Maybelline lately! I hadn't even noticed! I never really liked their products much before, but lately I've been on a kick. I also got two other mascaras (the black and red tube and the plush mascara that just came out).

Summer 2012 South East Asia Bucket List

Day dreaming about being here ♥

Still not done with my summer trimester. There is still about 2 and a half weeks left and in the meantime, I'm day dreaming about all the wonderful things I will get to do once I leave. Since there has been so many ideas whirling around in my mind, I thought I would compile a list of what I look forward to and what I really want to do, a sort of bucket list I guess you could say.

I simply cannot wait to start packing and enjoy the sun, the sand, the beach and the foods there. To this day, my trip to South East Asia remains my favorite and I'm beyond excited about going back now that I have more traveling experience!

Since it's not my first time in South East Asia, some of the things on here are repeats, things I have already done in the past. I've added them on there because I enjoyed them so much that I cannot see myself not doing it again :)

By the way, sorry for the recent lack of makeup looks recently, I got eczema around the eyes again and can't wear any makeup at all (plus it looks horrid :P) Hopefully it goes away soon!

So far, this has always been plenty for me, meaning I didn't have to do the laundry too often and had quite a lot to choose for, but didn't have a super heavy pack.

This first part includes all the toiletry items I bring with me on a two month long backpacking trip. The toiletries are also divided into subcategories for easier reading.

Summer 2012 Fashion Wishlist

It's been getting warmer here and I'm thinking I need new summer clothes. After all, I really only own 1 pair of shorts and 1 bathing suit, which means I look pretty much the same during the whole summer. I am also going on a backpacking trip to South East Asia at the end of June. I intend on visiting Thailand a second time, and Cambodia as well as Vietnam for the first time. It's very hot out there, so I need more short/thanks/tees to bring with me.

Lately, I have also been addicted to Pinterest add me if you are on there too! Right now the website is upon invite, so if you want to I can also send you an invite for it! Anyway, I have pinned some of the clothes I want for this summer on there and I thought I would share part of my Fashion Wishlist board on here!
