My favorite and Most Used Makeup Brushes (Drugstore)

Today I'm blogging about my favorite makeup brushes! I have accumulated quite a few makeup brushes in the past years, but I always end up using my favorites the most. I thought I would share with you all my most used ones. Some of them I have had for several years, while others are recent discoveries. They are all from the Drugstore (or from similarly priced stores) so they are all very affordable.

First, let me tell you more about my two current favorite drugstore makeup brushes brands.

---

Eco Tools : I have most brushes that Eco Tools does and I absolutely love them all. They are cruelty free and made from recycled aluminum and bamboo a widely renewable resource. The bristles are synthetic and extra soft. They don't shed or bleed, they are durable and they apply makeup very well. They are also very affordable. Some of their brushes are travel sized, which means the handles are very short. I personally like it since I think it gives more control and it's quite handy when you actually do travel with them.

Real Techniques : I have two sets by Real Techniques and two individual brushes. I love their face brushes which are very  dense and soft. The material is high quality and I love the look of the brushes. I also really love their fine liner brush. They are super affordable and they are made by Samantha Chapman a Youtuber from the beauty community. I love that by buying these we are supporting her amazing work! It's a definite bonus in my book.

Now on to my favorite brushes :
These are my most used Eco tools brushes that have a short handle. I use them on a daily basis

All by Eco Tools :
- Small detail brush : Inner corner and lower lashline
- Small flat shading brush : All over the lid color
- Fluffy blending brush : Blending shadows
- Large flat shading brush : Brow bone highlight
- Mineral powder brush : Powder, blush and bronzer

These are the only brushes I really need to bring with me when I travel.

These are my favorite long handle brush. I cannot get enough of the face brushes by real Techniques.

- Coastal Scents flat top buffing brush : Foundation
- Real Techniques buffing brush : Foundation and blush
- Real Techniques Expert face brush : Foundation
- Eco Tools blush brush : Powder, blush and bronzer
- Eco Tools angled liner brush : Brows and gel liner
- Real Techniques fine liner brush : Gel liner

That's all for my favorite makeup brushes! What is your favorite makeup brush brand? I'd love to try out Crown, as anyone tried out their products?

March 2013 Beauty Favorites

Hello everyone! March is coming to an end so it's time for monthly favorites! This month I have a few really nice new products that I have been enjoying quite a lot recently, a couple repeat favorites and a few items that I have rediscovered! Check out last month's favorites!

- Duo Clear Eyelash Glue : sticks very well and doesn't sting my eyes. It's great!

- Nude Tude Palette : I've mentioned this so many times this month. It's just amazing. Full review

- Sally Hansen Nail polish in Angel Wings : Beautiful opalescent sheer color. Pretty over all of Spring's pastels colors.♥

- Real Techniques Fine Liner brush : my absolute favorite lately for precise wing liner with gel.

- Real Techniques Expert face brush : love it for foundation and blush. Super soft.

- Clump Crusher Mascara : repeat favorite, makes my lashes really big, but not spidery.

- NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk : Great base for colorful looks.

- NYX Lashes in 109 - Rebel : Criss-cross design. Somewhat natural, but noticeable. Easy to apply.

- Hard Candy Bronzer in Tiki : Beautiful golden highlight. Great for a tanned look.

- Maybelline Babylips lipbalm in Grape and Cherry : super soft, a bit glossy and very hydrating
with just a hint of color. These are the berry and red toned ones. They give off a subtle color on the lips. Absolutely adore these!

- Canmake cream blush in a baby pink color : gives off a natural rosy glow. Nice dewy texture.

- NYC Sunny Bronzer : Not too dark. Great for bronzing up when you're very fair.

Wet n Wild gel liner in black : another repeat favorite. Very creamy, black and long lasting.

As you can tell from the picture, I also added three pink and gold bracelets which I have been wearing constantly lately. The first one is from Thailand, the middle one is from DealExtreme and the last one is from a local store called Suzy Shier.

That's all for this month's favorites! What were your favorite beauty products this month? Let me know in the comments :)

Beauty Haul : Real Techniques Brushes

I've just received my latest amazon purchase a few minutes ago and I'm so excited I cannot wait to share these with you all! It's the Real Techniques makeup brushes! Well, not all a them but a few :)

I ordered two of the sets and two individual brushes last Thursday  meaning I have received them in less than a week, pretty amazing! I'm am super excited about these. I haven't used them yet since I need to wash them first, so this won't be a full review, but tell me if you would like one once I get to use them. So far all I've done is feel the bristles on my hand to see if they are soft/dense (which they certainly are!)

I got the Core Collection, the Eye Starter Set, the Expert Face brush and the Fine Liner brush. I have heard so many great reviews on this brush collection, I cannot wait to try them out. It's kind of a bummer I have to wash them and wait for them to dry before I can start playing with them :P (plus I have to wash all of my brushes since it's been forever since I've deep cleaned them, so I thought I would do it all at once, which will definitely take some time)

That's all I got this time :) I got a DealExtreme package coming in this month also, might post about it once it comes! Only issue is the package has been sent in partial shipments (so far, two have been sent out), which means it may be a while before I have everything together. Anyway, let me know if you have these brushes and what you think of them!
