Hey everyone! Sorry I haven't been posting on here lately. If you follow my Facebook page, you probably already know that I had a summer trimester for university and the finals are this week. I'm super busy studying and getting ready for my impending move to a new appartment. I'm really quite excited about the new place. I'm going to have a walk in closet *dream come true*.
Anyway, the other day while I was procrastinating I decided to do a little collage of ideas I have to decorate my future living room/home office. I'm going to go for a modern black and white theme, with lots of patterns and shapes.
Most of the stuff is either from Ikea or Walmart, but there is also stuff from Pier 1, Cafe Press and Target (which opens here in Quebec in the fall of 2013 - can't wait!). The idea for this theme is built around my black leather sofa (in the middle of the picture), which I find difficult to match into other color schemes. I thought If I went all black and white than it would sort of blend into the room. Anyway, let me know what you think!
That's it for today. I need to get back to studying, I'm already running short on time! Hope you enjoyed this, let me know if you would like to see before and after pictures of the apartment once I decorate it. :)
Talk to you all soon ♥

May 2013 Beauty Favorites
Hey everyone! With the month of May now over, it's time for my beauty favorites! Sorry about it being a little late, but I had an internship until yesterday which has kept me incredibly busy until today. Anyway, let do the favorites now :
♥ Hard Candy Bronzer in Tiki - Gorgeous golden highlight shade. Been using it all month like crazy!
♥ Maybelline Baby Lips in Melon Mania - It gives a cute barely there tint and smells like sweedish berries. OMG
♥ Wet n Wild Concealer Stick - I usually hate these, but I've had a particularly hard to cover spot this month and this really saved me. It's really thick so it helps hide hard to cover blemishes.
♥ Victoria Secret Pink Wild at Heart Body Mist - Love the smell of this, it's citrusy and fresh. Great scent for spring and summer.
♥ Rimmel London Powder Blush in Bronze - Good for a natural sun kissed look. Love it!
♥ Nivea Vanilla & Macademia Lip Butter - Love everything about this, the packaging, the texture and the smell! To me, it kind of smells like vanilla ice cream, yum!
♥ Rimmel Stay Matte Powder - My skin has been changing since the beginning of spring. It has gotten a lot more oily than I'm used to. This powder helps me control shine and keep my foundation from moving around.
♥ Cover Girl Clump Crusher Mascara - I think it's the third month in a row I'm including this. It's probably my favorite mascara of all time. It hasn't dried up on me yet.
♥ Maybelline Great Lash Clear Mascara - Great brow gel!
♥ Rimmel Eye Khol in Nude - So practical! I use it to rim my waterline (makes you look more awake), to reverse line my lips and to hide discoloration around my nose, it works great!
♥ Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Concealer in Ivory - very brightening and not too thick, great for the under eye.
♥ Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation - Love the dewy finish of this foundation. It also feels very nice on the skin. Great coverage too!

My Little Pony Series : Princess Celestia Inspired Makeup
Hey everyone :)
Today I decided to go ahead and do a look inspired by Princess Celestia! I had a hard time coming up with a look that included all the colors and that looked nice and not too clowny. I think I like the result after all! I went a little nuts and also did a pastel gradient brow, it's pretty cool looking in my opinion :P Also excuse the lame half picture of her cutie mark. It was a real pain to recreate. I had to make a stencil and even then, I don't like how it turned out.

- NYX Jumbo Pencil -Milk
Eyeshadow & Brows
- BH 120 Palette (1st Edition)
- Coastal Scents 88 Warm Palette
- NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil - Milk

- Maybelline One by One Mascara
- Milani Liquif'Eye Pencil - Black
- Black Liquid Liner (unknown brand)

Disney Makeup Series : Cruella De Vil Inspired
Today I'm sharing a look that I did inspired by a Disney character. This time around, I chose to get inspired by a villain from the 101 Dalmatians. I chose Cruella De Vil, the frazzled-looking, fur-wearing meanie that tried to steal the dalmatians.
I went for something dramatic with sharps edges to represent her evil personality I even went for strong arched black brows to complement the look. Anyway, it's something a little different for me, definitely not something wearable, but still fun to do! I hope you like it :)
I think theses lashes are my new favorites lashes. They're from kiss I think they were 2 pairs for 6$, a real bargain considering my Ardell ones usually cost 6$ a piece. You can't really tell from the image but Cruella has green earrings. She also sometimes wears green shadow. That's where the green is from in case you were wondering!
