May 2013 Beauty Favorites

Hey everyone! With the month of May now over, it's time for my beauty favorites! Sorry about it being a little late, but I had an internship until yesterday which has kept me incredibly busy until today. Anyway, let do the favorites now :

Hard Candy Bronzer in Tiki - Gorgeous golden highlight shade. Been using it all month like crazy!

Maybelline Baby Lips in Melon Mania - It gives a cute barely there tint and smells like sweedish berries. OMG

Wet n Wild Concealer Stick - I usually hate these, but I've had a particularly hard to cover spot this month and this really saved me. It's really thick so it helps hide hard to cover blemishes.

Victoria Secret Pink Wild at Heart Body Mist - Love the smell of this, it's citrusy and fresh. Great scent for spring and summer.

Rimmel London Powder Blush in Bronze - Good for a natural sun kissed look. Love it!

Nivea Vanilla & Macademia Lip Butter - Love everything about this, the packaging, the texture and the smell! To me, it kind of smells like vanilla ice cream, yum!

Rimmel Stay Matte Powder - My skin has been changing since the beginning of spring. It has gotten a lot more oily than I'm used to. This powder helps me control shine and keep my foundation from moving around.

Cover Girl Clump Crusher Mascara - I think it's the third month in a row I'm including this. It's probably my favorite mascara of all time. It hasn't dried up on me yet.

Maybelline Great Lash Clear Mascara - Great brow gel!

Rimmel Eye Khol in Nude - So practical! I use it to rim my waterline (makes you look more awake), to reverse line my lips and to hide discoloration around my nose, it works great!

Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Concealer in Ivory - very brightening and  not too thick, great for the under eye.

Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation - Love the dewy finish of this foundation. It also feels very nice on the skin. Great coverage too!

Close up of my favorite shadows of the month both by Darling Girl Cosmetics : Lucky and Basket Case
Darling Girl Cosmetics Loose Shadows in Lucky and Basket Case - Lucky is a lovely sheer mint green when applied over a pale base color. It gets even more intense when applied over a dark base. Basket case is a duo-chrome purple with a strong blue shift. I'm thinking of getting this one in full size eventually.

What are your favorite beauty products this month? Let me know in the comments :)

SE Asia Beauty Haul : ZA, Canmake, Nivea, Maybelline, Biore, Essential, Majolica Majorca and more!

So while I was in SE Asia this summer, I really wanted to pick up some asian beauty products that I have been eyeing for a while. Turns out, most of it is quite expensive (especially the japanese brands), but I'm glad I can try them out! If I like them, I'll feel more comfortable paying shipping to get them later on. Plus, I got to swatch some of them and see which colors I like :)

Here is what I got!

I got a Majolica Majorca mascara (680 baht, about 22$ ouchie :S, hope it's as good as I hear), a ZA hydrating spray, Biore Cleanser (and mini makeup remover), Essential shampoo, conditionner and hair mask, Vaseline moisturizer, Nivea deodorant and cream, ZA powder foundation and compact, Maybelline BB Cream (it's tiny) and Canmake cream blush (also really expensive, can't remember how much exactly, but around 10$)
I haven't given everything enough of a go to review it yet, but if you would like an in-depth review of any of the products here, let me know!

In the mean time, so far, I have been really liking the ZA foundation (it's milled incredibly fine and makes my skin super soft <3), the Vaseline moisturizer, the Nivea deodorant, the ZA spray and all the Essential hair care which are super creamy and moisturising (although I'm not a big fan of the floral smell).

That's all I got in SE Asia (well Thailand really). If you are curious, I got most of these either at Boots (I was super excited to go there, we don't have it here), 7-11 (they have a couple cheap beauty products) and Watsons. Sadly they didn't have any of the british cosmetic brands there. I would of liked to try out Sleek and Collection 2000 (now just called Collection I think).

Anyway, I really should be studying right now, I am procrastinating at the moment :S I'll update soon with Halloween looks, favorites and more :)
