Christmas Haul and Presents!

This year, I did stockings for everyone in my family. Since it's not a tradition in my family, and since I was so excited about the concept, I really wanted one myself so I decided to make myself one as well :P I also got a couple presents from my brothers and boyfriend and I bought some stuff at the after Christmas sales.

I thought I would share it here, because I love to see hauls, especially Christmas ones! (even though most of this stuff I actually bought for myself :P)

The tiny tree I brought at the dollar store for my dad's appartment! It looks tiny compared to the presents :D

My boyfriend surprised me with a Kindle! I have wanted one for the longest time and keep talking about getting myself one. I was so excited. I still can't believe he got it for me! I had no idea :D

A Garnier kit (19$ for the whole kit, so cheap!) I got myself and my brother's main gift for me : a pink light up miror :D I've wanted one forever!

From my brother, an Hello Kitty Pez keychain (ate all of them already) and a fuzzy squid mini hand bag!

I got clothes too, but I haven't had the time to take good pictures of them yet, so if I remember, I'll post them later on!

First video : Christmas Green and Gold Metallic Party Tutorial

Alright so I thought it would be nice to show you the process for achieving this look instead of just posting pictures for once :P I tryed making a picture tutorial, but I'm too impatient and I could never get the angles right to really show what I'm doing.

So I decided to take a chance a make a video about it. No talking just text and the video :) I'm not 100% happy with the way it turned out (weird angles - couldn't find any music to add - the camera quality isn't that great), but I think it still gives  good idea of how you can achieve this look!

The look is a holiday/christmas party look. I chose the traditionnal colors : Green and gold on the lids, as well as red on the lips!

Silver, white and blue christmas tree!

I've wanted my own Christmas tree ever since I moved on my own. I haven't had the chance to have one for years since there wasn't any space in previous apartments. This year I was determined to buy one and our new car made that easy!

I don't have that many decorations for it yet, I already had some unbreakable blue, silver and white Christmas ornaments and some snow flakes so I got just one more kit of blue ornaments and the tree which included the blue lights!

It's my first time decorating a Christmas tree on my own, I'm pretty happy with the results :D I think there's a bit missing though and I might go out and buy a blue or silver garland and some blue and white candy canes! What do you all think I should add?
